It's been unusually cold. ...A little, finally. It's been unusually cold. Our pool has a swim team (but no heater) and we usually have no problem this time of year, but we've actually been practicing at another heated pool because our water is so cold. I have a feeling we're going from 70 right to 90 this year! And I'm the same way - I hate to tell people no on the clothes. I've started going through the bags right away as soon as I get them and putting stuff STRAIGHT in the Goodwill pile if I truly don't need them. IT's the only way.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02999838147173390906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11055179.post-70313726707003743702013-05-18T17:56:51.811-07:002013-05-18T17:56:51.811-07:00I get hand me downs for the little ones too. It do...I get hand me downs for the little ones too. It does save us a ton of money. But I get this sick, panicky feeling every time a bag comes our way. After my de-clutter, I asked a friend if she could use John's outgrown clothes. I think I made her say yes three times before I left them. It can be awkward to turn them down. She swore to me she can really use them.

Toys ans clothes do get easier.

Is it heating up in Atl? Today was our first sticky day.
Kelly@http:/inthesheepfold.blogspot.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834003036792819091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11055179.post-26777144582581037552013-05-18T11:38:56.802-07:002013-05-18T11:38:56.802-07:00I'm so with you on this one. That's my go...I'm so with you on this one. That's my goal this summer. Reduce clutter. Significantly. Somehow, that got away from me this fall and winter. We're just in such a busy season right now, that I barely feel like my head is above water. My problem with the clothes is my little boys. People keep giving us stuff, and I store it for "future" use. I definitely give away EVERYTHING that my youngest outgrows, but somehow my next oldest has SO.MUCH.CLOTHING. My flip-side problem is that many of the items he wears a lot may not make it down to the final one, so I keep the rest in reserve, so I don't need to buy anything. I'm SO ready to be done with bins of clothing, though. My two oldest both wear about the same size and other than bigger waists, I think are about done in the "size change" department. So I'm getting there. I totally relate to the baby blankets. When the last one "outgrew" them, I picked out 4 or 5 of my absolute favorites and packed them in a bin of baby toys that I couldn't bear to get ride of, and it resides in the attic, also waiting on grandchildren.Krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02999838147173390906noreply@blogger.com
