Small Successes - In Honor of Tim

FaithButton
The women at Faith and Family share their successes each week. Click the link and encouraged!

Tim's away at camp this week. It's strange how strange it is to have him gone. On the cusp of thirteen - thirteen! - Tim is suddenly doing things that both bless and amaze me.

1. Tim helped put together a power point slide show for his grandparents' 50th anniversary. He spent hour after hour scanning old photos. Truly, we could not have done this without him.

2. Tim mowed the lawn Saturday! Huge, really huge!

3. Tim and his cousin Jacob learned to play Euchre. It's neat to enjoy an adult game with your kids.

Can't wait to see my Boy Scout tomorrow!

Yea for Boy Scout camp! As a mother of an Eagle Scout I remember summer cap well. They leave all clean and happy and they come hoe all dirty and happy! I hope it's a great reunion. Go Tim Go!

Anytime the lawn gets mowed by someone other than me or my husband, it's a triumph! Great job!

Watching our boys turn to young men is an amazing process!

I love the idea of sharing Tim's successes! I may have to borrow that idea for my own post next week! (With my own son, of course...not Tim. ::grin::)

Mary - Behind every Eagle Scout is a mom who sewed lots of patches, bleached plenty of muddy socks, and sold a bunch of popcorn. You're an Eagle Mom!

Faith - I agree. Any job done reasonably well by someone else is a job well done.

Michelle, Nicole, and Violin - Thanks for your kind words and visit.
