Small Successes

FaithButton
Danielle Bean encourages moms to encourage each other. Of note this week:

1. So far I have styled my hair three times. This is big, very big. With the Altar Servers' banquet this Saturday, I may shatter a record.

2. A friend shared a word about planning your life around God, rather than trying to fit God into your life. To that end, we have changed our morning routine around and have found a time to pray together as a family.

3. When I realized John was up for the day, I put my agenda aside, cuddled up in the bed with him, and read lots of stories. See my previous post regarding my thoughts on Daylight Savings Time.

Planning your life around God, rather than trying to fit God into your life - paradigm shift! This works for all of one's priorities, doesn't it? Might have to 'borrow' this for a blog post. ak

I love your posts :).

#1 would be huge for me... the pony-tail/bun gal. My husband loves it when I style my hair but I "never have time." Thanks for the inspiration :).

What a great week!

Ami - I am inspired by your "practice 100 times" idea. I floated this by one of the kids who is struggling with some motor issues.

City Wife - I have never been a hair person. My younger sister - a former hair stylist - cornered the market on the family hair genes. While my husband never complains about my hair, he always notices when I put in an ounce of effort. So hard to fit it in.

Thanks for reading!
