I remember (like yesterday) 40 years ago when we were driving down the road with my almost two year old baby girl in my arms in the passenger seat(before infant carseats!). The window was rolled down and the breeze was blowing our hair. Christy kept popping her paci in and out of her little mouth and then tossed the paci out the car window. Her eyes grew large in surprise at what she'd done. "It's all gone," I said. I don't think she even cried...but that was the end of paci! ;-)

You're stronger than me! I'd buy that girl a pacie. I was never able to tell my children no about nursing.
Your daughter is beautiful!
